Estimates and pricing

Estimates are based on the scope and conditions we see at the walkthrough or in the drawings you send. If conditions change once walls are open or the scope grows, we stop and give you a revised number before continuing. Estimates are quoted, not free, and hold for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.

Scheduling and access

We confirm dates in writing. You are responsible for giving our crew access to the building, the shutoff and the work area on the scheduled day. If we cannot get in, a trip charge may apply.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on your estimate or contract. Commercial projects are typically billed by progress draw. Balances past due may carry a late fee allowed under New Jersey law.

Permits and inspections

Permit work is pulled under our New Jersey license when the job calls for it. Permit and inspection fees are billed at cost unless the estimate says they are included.

Warranty

Our labor is warranted for one year from completion. Fixtures, water heaters, boilers and other equipment carry the manufacturer warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, freezing, other trades or work performed by someone else after we leave.

Emergency service

Emergency calls are answered 24/7 and billed at our after hours rate. We will tell you the rate before dispatch.

The photos, copy and marks on this site belong to New Era Plumbing Services. Content here is general information about our work, not a quote or a guarantee of price or availability.

Liability

We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our responsibility is limited to the work we perform. We are not responsible for preexisting conditions we did not touch or for delays caused by other trades, suppliers or inspection scheduling.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here on the day you hire us is the one that applies.
